Mora County Fire Restrictions

Mora County manager, Joy Asley has the authority to impose or rescind fire restrictions with guidance from the Chiefs Association. The fire restrictions were imposed again in April 12th, 2021, and are the same from last October 7, 2020.

ORDINANCE 16-01

Enforcement:

This ordinance shall be enforced by the Sheriff of Mora County or the Sheriff’s duly appointed deputies.

PENALTIES:

Penalties for violation of one or more of the restrictions of this ordinance shall be as prescribed in Section 68-2-1 through 25 NMSA 1978.
