Open for Business

I am grateful to be open for business to support our immune / lymphatic systems in this time of COVID-19.  I am working with a nuanced, more fluid (pun intended) approach to our mutual safety and while improving your health.  And given the rapidly-changing conditions, we can plan, and then see how those plans may change.

Because I work with so many high-risk individuals with underlying medical conditions, and because this work supports the improvement and easing of so many underlying conditions, we will endeavor to keep social distancing recommendations as much as possible, while also providing risk mitigation for our hands-on work together.  And, because I work out of my home, I want to keep my home safe and calming for me, as well!

Cleansing in Calmness:  With that in mind, and with your continuing suggestions for any reassuring approaches, I am requiring:

1.           First:  Do not come for an appointment here if:

a.           You haven’t been social distancing and masking.

b.           You have been exposed to someone with the Novel Coronavirus within the last 14 days.

c.           You’ve traveled out of the state - returning within the last 14 days.

d.    You have been in an indoor setting with more than the Governor’s allowable regulations.  (Family/friends groups of 5 limit, etc.)

e.           You are having new symptoms of fever, fatigue, dry cough, loss of appetite, shortness of breath, body aches, loss of smell or taste, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.

2.           Please monitor your temperature in the 7 days leading up to your visit.

3.           Before you arrive, if at all possible, please do not come from the grocery store, the pharmacy, or other places where you may have may have just been exposed to COVID-19. Please tell me about your plans ahead of your arrival, if at all possible, so we can reconsider your entry protocols.

4.    Particularly since the Governor has required masks in public and in businesses, please arrive wearing a mask that you will wear for the duration of your visit.  If you do not have one, I have a limited supply of paper disposable masks from which I can offer one to you at a modest charge.  We will both wear masks for the duration.  (“My mask primarily protects you.  Your mask primarily protects me.”). I also will be wearing a face shield during your treatment.  And, for now, I no longer allow scarves over your face during your session.   These seem to be unstable enough to offer little to no mitigation value during sessions.  Please call me in advance of your appointment to discuss any individual concerns, should you have any.

5.           You may wait in your car, or outside either under the apricot tree on the patio furniture, or sit on the far (north/right) side of the patio table on the porch, where you can maintain 6’ of distance from the client leaving just before you.  (I have signage, for clarity when you arrive.). You may adjust the umbrella or chair for your comfort.

6.           I have a touchless thermometer by the door to check for fever at that moment, in case that makes sense. I have found this is less needed because you have agreed to have been monitoring your temperature in the days before your appointment.

7.     Also by the door to the left, is hand sanitizer, and grain alcohol spray.

8.     Please leave your purse, keys, sunglasses, or other items on the red mat & table by the printer.   (There is a spot on the couch with a sign where you may leave things, if you need a place closer to the door to set your things down.)    I  have signage for you to identify those locations more easily.  These locations allow me to spray down the table (or change cloths) upon your departure.

9.           Please wash your hands thereafter.  The bathroom is to your right after the curtain, which shall for now remain open.  There are three foam soaps to choose from, including a touchless dispenser with a brushed silver finish.  See the NM Health Department Recommendations for cleaning your hands by the sink.

10.       As you make your way back into the office, to the dressing room, please place your clothing hanging on the rack behind the chair  or on the towel on the chair as you disrobe by the fireplace.  I disinfect the hanging rack every morning.  The towel is changed for each client.

11.       You may sit on the cloth over the fabric chair in order to undress and prepare to receive a treatment.

12.       As ever, the Air Doctor air purifier continues to run 24/7.   I have one in our office, and one in the basement in my laundry area. Their literature states that they filter out small particles and droplets down to the size of 2.5 microns… the size of viruses.  While they have not tested the Air Doctor on Coronavirus specifically, they have successfully filtered out other viruses of a similar size.  The Air Doctor filter detects airborne things to filter and turns up when needed.  And I do occasionally turn up the fan speed, to move air through it faster, as desired.

14.       I also use a UVC light wand that I use to shine over many touch surfaces and paperwork before you arrive.

15.  I also use Force of Nature electrolyzed spray that is COVID-19 tested, according to their website.    They say, "Force of Nature is an appliance that turns tap water, plus a capsule of salt, water & vinegar, into a cleaner and disinfectant. It’s on the EPA’s list of Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19.”

16.       Some of you have expressed concern about 5G WI-FI signals as they may have a negative impact on Coronavirus and its impact on our bodies.  For well over a decade, I have had strong mitigation products throughout my home office to protect you from any-G Wi-Fi.  I know they work, because some of my clients who have been very sensitive to Wi-Fi were unaware of any problem here in my home office.  Thanks to them, and my own muscle-testing, I feel confident that these products are effective.  Let me know if you would like more information or have any questions.

CLEANING

1.    My cleaning company, Green Choice Cleaning,  has returned every week.  They did  a deeper cleaning the first time.  They are observing the same precautions that we also are discussing here, and requiring their other clients to do the same.  (Especially #1.a through d. above.)  We are adding new COVID-19 products and protocols including more alcohol products and soap and water cleaning protocols to dissolve the fat membrane around virus, allowing it to be deactivated.

2.    Of course, during the week when they are not here, I frequently spray or wipe main surfaces with Force of Nature, 91% isopropyl alcohol, 95% grain alcohol, and/or wash with soap and water.
