FIRST MORA SUMMER MARKET

@Los de Mora Local Growers’ Coop parking lot

Remember when our communities were connected to the resources of our region, before superstores and online shopping, when leather goods and pottery were made by your neighbors, gates were custom built by the local blacksmith, and trade skills were passed from generation to generation? When consumers knew exactly where their goods came from and those who made them? When the goods sold were the mark of a proud maker.

It’s time to showcase our local craftsman and celebrate the legacy of handmade in North Eastern New Mexico craftsmanship!

We welcome those original and generational skilled potters, blacksmiths, textile weavers, leather workers, and furniture makers and the modern spare room, garage workshop and online Etsy store owners! The jewelry and candle makers, soap and lotion creators, local beekeepers with honey and beeswax products, the farm and garden enthusiast with homegrown goods and dried floral arrangements, or the ever popular custom tumbler maker! We want the artisans that create handmade products who learned their craft from grandparents, neighbors or even youtube, those who have a passion for the products they make and a deep appreciation for those like minded creators who design and make beautiful products with their hands.

To better clarify the products associated with a Makers Market we have included more details within these policies and rules Click here:https://forms.gle/q79JGiT9GBEvSWXR7 Please feel free to email questions to mainstreetmora@gmail.com we look forward to hearing from our local makers and creating an environment to showcase our local talent!
